LEVEL 2 DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
£2,000 (All inclusive. No hidden VAT. With interest free instalments which can be arranged)
This course mixes theory (science, technology, health and safety) with practical units of installation to give you experience and knowledge of differing wiring methods, wiring systems and cable types. These practical assessments can also prepare you for testing and verifying the wiring and installation work you complete meets the requirements of the wiring regulations and best practice. The Level 2 is a pre-requisite to starting and completing the L3 Diploma which paired with the L3 NVQ this can lead to registration for a JIB or CSCS Gold Card for site work electricians.

L3 DIPLOMA IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION

This course mixes theory (science, design, environmental technologies) with practical units of Inspection and Testing, Fault Finding as well as some workshop tasks aimed at Heating Control Wiring and Motor Control. Paired with the L3 NVQ this can lead to registration for a JIB or CSCS Gold Card for site work electricians.

NVQ LEVEL 3

The NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) is your opportunity to reflect on your good practice as an improving electrician (improver/electrician’s mate/self-employed electrician) and compile a portfolio of evidence (with assistance by your on-site assessor) to show you can install a variety of wiring types and wiring systems safely and prepare an installation to be commissioned.
Paired with a completed L2 and L3 diploma in electrical installation (regardless of awarding body) the L3 NVQ this can lead to registration for a JIB or CSCS Gold Card for site work electricians.

INSPECTION AND TESTING

Here, you will acquire a knowledge of how to verify Inspections and Testing of installations to prove compliance with BS7671 for domestic, commercial or industrial installations. This course mixes theory with practical and covers the completion of the following electrical certificates; Electrical Installation Certificates, Electrical Installations Condition Reports (periodic inspections) and Minor Works.

Learn how to inspect, test and assess a variety of portable equipment to ensure they are either safe for continued use or need to be taken out of service for repair, maintenance or replacement. This course aims to give a comprehensive approach to all aspects of portable appliance testing so you can tackle a variety of equipment and feel confident that you are able to find, collate and report correct information correctly. Course includes a theory and practical mix.

ELECTRICIAN’S GUIDE TO THE BUILDING REGULATIONS

Learn the tools to navigate and interpret the IET publication which guides Electricians to the pertinent requirements for installations in domestic, commercial and industrial settings in accordance with the approved documents of the building regulations. This course will fully prepare you for both the practical and multiple-choice elements of the AM2 exam.
We have a dedicated rig containing all the types of fixtures that may appear on the examination rig, for you to practice testing and find added faults to go into the exam with the confidence and knowledge to pass.
Prep days are bespoke to each learner to focus on any aspects you may be apprehensive about.
